This pathway provides links to the Leeds Directory. http://www.leedsdirectory.org/

The Leeds Directory is a source of information on a range of services and organisations which can be accessed via the internet or telephone helpline and information can also be posted upon request.

There are over 1700 organisations and services to assist and support people to live independently. Working closely with West Yorkshire Trading Standards, organisations providing services around the home, personal care or trades are checked and vetted for peace of mind.

Since 2009 Leeds Directory has been funded by Leeds City Council and managed by Care & Repair Leeds, an Industrial & Provident Society with charitable Status (Reg. No. 25858R).

The Leeds Directory works in partnership with the Leeds Centre for Integrated Living to provide a searchable database of Personal Care Assistants and listings of care packages posted by Personal Budget holders. There is also an online registration area to become a personal assistant.

The Memories Reminiscence Library is completely free to use, and has been set up for family members and friends of those living with dementia to help stimulate conversation and reminiscence. the resources available are enjoyable to use, aiding communication and reviving relationships that may be lost due to the symptoms of dementia. The resources are delivered and collected to your address, enabling everyone to access the library.
